RNC Chair Michael Steele Plays the ‘Race Card’ on Obama

Anyone with a well-developed sense of irony will appreciate this bit of video:

RNC Chairman Michael Steele appeared “Face the Nation” on Sunday morning and was asked to comments on reports that President Obama personally telephoned New York Governor David Paterson (who is one of only two African-American governors in the country) — and who is polling at levels not seen since the Bubonic Plague — and asked him not to run in 2010.

Mr. Steele said: “I found that to be stunning, that the White House would send word to one of only two black Governors in the Country not to run for re-election.”
