The Rhode Island Republican Party has developed a brand new website, which it will be using over the coming election cycle to critique Congressboy Patrick Kennedy (D-Rehab), called DUMP KENNEDY.
The URL for the site is appropriately enough: http://www.dumpkennedy.org/ .
The site is just getting off the ground, so expect more to be added to it as time goes on. It is pretty well-designed and features some interesting graphics and web videos such as this one, where Rep. Kennedy insultingly mocks the Roman Catholic Church:
Once you are on the site, you can sign up to volunteer, to get e-mail updates, or to donate online to “Dump Kennedy.”
I can’t confirm this for certain, but I don’t think the original draft’s verb was “Dump.”
With friends like these…
A new video of Rev. Jeremiah Wright has surfaced, showing President Barack Obama’s pastor of 20 years praising Marxism and discussing his ties to communists in El Salvador and Nicaragua and the Libyan government…
In this video, which captures Rev. Wright’s appearance at the September 17th, 2009, 60th anniversary celebration of the independent socialist magazine, Monthly Review, Reverend Jeremiah Wright said that while the “corporate media” provide a “binary lens” of the world, in such terms as “communist versus Christian,” Monthly Review offers what it calls “no-nonsense Marxism.”
He added: “You dispel all the negative images we have been programmed to conjure up with just the mention of that word socialism or Marxism.”
He called America “land of the greed and home of the slave.”…
PS And if that wasn’t enough: The contributors to Monthly Review include former Weather Underground terrorist Bernardine Dohrn; Marilyn Buck, another former Weather Underground member; convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal; Bill Fletcher, Jr., a founder of Progressives for Obama; and Chomsky.

Maurice “Moe” Green, Republican candidate for State Representative in the November 10 special election in Providence’s House District 10, delivered a Halloween flyer to all 5,000 households in the District, offering “treats, not tricks” if he is elected.
It states, “Will you get tricks or treats on November 10? Give yourself a treat! Elect Moe Green State Representative.” This is accompanied by a picture of Green, and a pumpkin labeled “Honest Leadership”.
The flyer continues, “Elect the other candidates, and you might get the same old tricks!”. This is followed by 3 cartoons: 3 witches stirring a cauldron labeled “Politics As Usual”; a ghost labeled “Bad Schools”; and a black cat behind a pot labeled “Tax And Spend”.
The back side of the flyer tells about Green signing the “Taxpayer Protection Pledge”, which promises that “I will oppose and vote against any and all efforts to raise taxes”. There is a picture of Green signing the “Pledge” in front of Grover Norquist, national President of Americans For Tax Reform.
