It was on the eleventh day, of the eleventh month on the eleventh hour that the First World War ended. Today, however, we reflect upon and celebrate the service of all of our veterans, their families and remember those who still proudly serve.
It is with great admiration and appreciation that I wish to thank all who served to defend our liberties. As you and your families enjoy a holiday together, please join us in remembering America’s fine men and women of the military.
I would also ask that you keep the men and women of Ft. Hood and their families in your prayers as well.
On behalf of the Loughlin family, I would like to extend to you best wishes on this Veteran’s day and do remember, freedom is not free.
Thank you to our veterans and their families, November 11, 2009.
Rep. John J. Loughlin II
