On Tuesday, December 29th, we will get our next chance to show that Rhode Island voters are finally ready for some real change.
TOM CLUPNY is the Republican candidate for State Representative in House District 62, in the December 29 special election to replace Rep. Betsy Dennigan. District 62 is the Rumford section of East Providence, and the southeast part of Pawtucket (near Slater Park).

There will be an election night gathering in the basement hall of the Community Center of Grupo Amigos Da Terceira (Portuguese Club) located at 55 Memorial Drive in Pawtucket, near McCoy Stadium off of Columbus Avenue. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Election results should be available shortly after 9:00 PM. Light refreshments (sandwiches and snack food) and a cash bar will be available.
Tom Clupny, age 65, lives on Bourne Ave. in Rumford. He is the Director of Environmental Affairs and Safety for RIPTA. Tom has lived in East Providence for 35 years. He is originally from Kansas, where he was raised on a family farm and served as a Deputy Sheriff.
Tom, a father and grandfather, is active with Sacred Heart Church and with the Knights of Columbus. He is a volunteer blacksmith at Coggeshall Farm Historic Museum.

Tom Clupny is one of 3 candidates who have qualified to run. On December 29, he will face Democrat Mary Duffy Messier and Independent Paul Dinsmore. Tom is the Republican. Nobody from the Moderate Party filed to run.
