RIRA urges RIGOP State Party Position on Illegal Immigrant In-State Tuition

Where does the RIGOP STAND? With the Taxpayers and American Citizens or against?

Good morning – as I get up to speed from returning home from the NFRA Presidential Preference Convention in Des Moines, IA, I find that an editorial in Sunday’s Providence Journal might lead one to think that Republicans are okay with some new world order and that this nation is no longer a nation of laws, as long as you feel good about what you do…

The Rhode Island Republican Assembly (RIRA) and most fiscal and constitutional conservatives strongly oppose in-state tuition for illegal aliens.

Rewards for this type of violation of the laws and sovereignty of this nation promote the demise of American Citizenship.

Let us all refrain from the Political Correctness being put forth by many Democrats, Liberals, and Progressives. We must define the discussion for what it is and not let others water it down, make it seem less offensive or even acceptable. There is no such thing as “undocumented students / workers”! They are illegal aliens who have CHOSEN to ignore the laws of our land.

The state cannot afford its pension system, yet Governor Chafee, Dr. Harrop and Ms. Rojas want to give away tax dollars to those who violate the laws of this Nation.

Let us all remember that while Republican President Reagan provided amnesty for 3 million illegal immigrants in the 1980′s, the other piece of the puzzle was that the Democrats, Progressives, and Liberals in congress were suppose to give the American Citizens secure borders and immigration reform, which the Democrats, Progressives, and Liberals reneged on. Of course, that was left out of the most recent discussion. Should anyone wish to put forth what President Reagan’s thoughts were and could be, they should do so after talking to former Attorney General Edwin Meese.

Do Dr. Harrop and Ms. Rojas, as officers of the State RIGOP, currently speak for the State Party on this issue as the article might have one believe? They also list themselves as officers of the Providence GOP City Committee. Are they speaking on behalf of that organization as well?

What is the RIGOP State Party and Providence’s City Committee official position now that Dr. Harrop has been on talk radio promoting this horrendous act by non-elected officials, appointed by a Governor, who through his actions, has shown great contempt for those who became Citizens legally?

Will Dr. Harrop and Ms. Rojas be sanctioned for possibly misleading the general public into thinking this is the RIGOP Policy?

As American Citizens, they are well within their rights to speak on issues as they see fit. I, along will millions of other American Citizens, have served on Active Duty to protect these rights.

The question is: Does the RIGOP stand for anything different then the Democrats, Liberals, and Progressives like Governor Chafee, Senator Paiva-Weed, or Representative Fox?

ANSWERS AND LEADERSHIP ARE NEEDED AND DEMANDED NOW!!!

‘Give Governor Chafee Heck’ Rally | Wednesday

Want to show Governor Chafee that you’re mad as heck and won’t take it anymore? Here’s your chance!

There will be a rally at the Rhode Island State House, on Wednesday, October 5th, starting at 5:00 PM, concerning the Chafee administration’s position on rewarding illegal immigration. Gov. Chafee has usurped his role as our state’s leader by positioning certain people to do his bidding, instead of doing the will of the people of Rhode Island, as recently witnessed at a Board of Governors meeting, which granted illegal aliens in-state tuition.

Although this rally will mainly concern Chafee’s stance on illegal immigration, please feel free to invite anyone who is upset with Governor Chafee for any reason (we know there are plenty of reasons!). Feel free to bring signs. John Depetro will be the emcee; Helen Glover will be there, too, as well as Terry Gorman from RIILE, plus some General Assembly members, such as event organizer Rep. Doreen Costa and Senators Maher and Cote. The new Ocean State Tea Party In Action, and a few other good government groups will also be participating. It should be fun!

Minuteman Project Coming to Providence | October 1

Minuteman Project Coming to Providence!

The Minuteman Project, in conjunction with Rhode Islanders for Immigration Law Enforcement (RIILE), is coming to Providence, Rhode Island to support Rhode Island Democratic State Representative Peter G. Palumbo’s Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act, an Arizona-style immigration law enforcement bill, the Governor’s E-Verify Executive order and Immigration Law Enforcement in general.

On October 1st, we hope to encourage the Rhode Island legislature to pass Representative Palumbo’s bill and E-Verify legislation, thus setting a precedent for the other New England states to follow.

Every state in the Union, including each New England state, is a border state with Mexico now. As California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas have become overwhelmed by a massive inflow of illegal aliens, previously untouched states are now the destination points of an endless stream of illegal aliens from around the world.

The Minuteman Project, and RIILE, will assemble at the Rhode Island State House in Providence, Rhode Island on October 1, 2010, 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM, to bring public awareness to the pejorative consequences of our nation’s decades-long, bureaucratically ignored, reckless disregard for U.S. immigration laws.

We invite political representatives, both incumbents and aspiring candidates and the leaders of Government watchdog groups along with their members from every state to join us in this public event advocating immigration law enforcement.

Representatives from and members of all political parties are welcome to participate in this event regardless of political party affiliation. Persons from recognized media outlets, or any law enforcement organization, are warmly welcomed to join us.

The event will be broadcast on the Helen Glover WHJJ Talk Radio Show.

If you have any questions please contact RIILE at riile2 [at] cox [dot] net or 401-475-2410 so that we can plan for your on-site presence.

See you in Providence on October 1, 2010.

Video: Rhode Island Senate Misuse of Power

If you want to know why Rhode Island is in the shape its in, this video will help. It’s from a few months ago, when Senate president Theresa Paiva-Weed, who was determined not to have a particular bill dealing with illegal immigration voted on (despite half the Senate being cosponsors) used parliamentary tactics to kill a bill, and violated a number of procedures in the process. I had previously heard it on radio, but this video is literally appalling.

Almost equally as appalling is Paiva-Weed’s obvious ignorance of proper procedure.

Why President Obama Won’t Secure the Border

On June 18, 2010, Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ) told the audience at a town hall meeting that during a private, one-on-one meeting with President Obama in the Oval Office, the President told him, regarding securing the southern border:

“The problem is, if we secure the border, then you all won’t have any reason to support ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’” [Audible gasps were heard throughout the audience.] Sen. Kyl continued, “In other words, they’re holding it hostage. They don’t want to secure the border unless and until it is combined with ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’”

Sen. Kyl also said he reminded President Obama that the President and the Congress has an obligation, a duty, to secure the border.

(Okay, you can stop pretending to be surprised now)

Arizona Sing-A-Long: Read Immigration Law!

Two weeks ago, Governor Jan Brewer took President Obama to task for making Arizona’s unsecured borders and illegal immigration crisis a laughing matter. However, since then, Washington’s comedy of errors has grown far worse, with top cabinet officials admitting that they haven’t even read Arizona’s new immigration law. Broken borders are not a laughing matter, but the failure by Obama’s trusted officials to read Arizona’s law before commenting and condemning it is laughable. Read the law for yourself at: http://www.SecuretheBorder.org .
