Loughlin ‘Support the Troops’ Event | Saturday

LOUGHLIN CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEERS TO HOLD SUPPORT THE TROOPS EVENT ON SATURDAY

The Friends of John Loughlin will be holding an event on Saturday to support the troops in Afghanistan. They will be collecting items and assembling care packages to ship to our soldiers in Afghanistan. The event will take place on Saturday December 3, 2011 at the Manville Sportsmen’s Rod and Gun Club, 250 High Street, in Manville. From the hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

John Loughlin for Congress campaign volunteers will be collecting items such as snacks, toiletries, batteries, T-shirts and socks, just to name a few. Free coffee and donuts will be provided.

Said Napolitano, “We have fantastic group of campaign volunteers and many of them have family and friends deployed overseas and thought this would be an excellent idea especially with the upcoming holiday season. The care packages are great morale boosters for our troops.”

John Loughlin is assigned to the Iraq Training & Assistance Mission – Army Aviation Division. He is expected to return sometime in December.

LOUGHLIN CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEERS TO HOLD SUPPORT THE TROOPS EVENT

Michael Napolitano, the official spokesperson for the John Loughlin campaign, issued a statement today regarding an upcoming event to support the troops in Afghanistan. Said Napolitano, “We are elated that the troops are coming home from Iraq but we still have thousands of troops deployed in Afghanistan and other locations all over the world who need our support. We will be collecting items and assembling care packages to ship to our soldiers in Afghanistan.”

John Loughlin Farewell Gathering | Saturday

On Saturday, May 7th, please join us at 7:00 pm for a farewell gathering in honor of John Loughlin to be held at Perella’s Ristorante, at 311 Metacom Avenue, in Warren.

Former State Representative and Congressional candidate, John Loughlin is being called to active duty in the United States military. He will be serving our country once again in Iraq and is scheduled to return in January of 2012. This event will be John’s first step on his political 2012 plan.

Must-See Scott Brown video!

In less than a week, voters in Rhode Island’s first district will head to the polls and decide who will represent them in Congress. My campaign is going full tilt — the phones are ringing off the hook, we can’t keep yard signs in stock, and our volunteers are knocking on doors and making thousands of calls.

We’re still feeling the “bounce” off of a wonderful day with Senator Brown yesterday. If you missed the event, here’s a short video that you will enjoy.
